Ask the log.
WowCoach reads your WoW combat log and answers in plain words, with the timestamps to prove it. Upload last night’s, ask, and argue with it if you want.

Explore real raid and dungeon reports. Start with the saved coaching in The Voidspire overview, then inspect the pulls, deaths, and kicks. Individual pulls may not yet have saved coaching.
How it usually goes
Tabs vs. answers
Same question. Same log. Very different amount of your life.
What’s in it
The questions it answers
Grouped the way you ask them after a wipe, not the way a menu lists them.
The last ten seconds before every death: what hit you, how much HP you had, which defensives were sitting unused, where the healer was.
Type the question the way you’d ask it in raid chat. Clutch reads the log, checks the boss strategy and your spec guide, and answers with timestamps. Follow-ups pick up where you left off. See how it works.
Every kick, who got it, who missed theirs, and what got through.
Defensive and raid cooldowns: whether they got pressed when it mattered, and by whom.
On Windows, record your pulls locally and scrub the footage next to the combat timeline and the tactical map. Click a marker on the timeline and the video jumps to that moment.
On Pro, the Desktop App tells you what you did right, the one fix worth making, and whether last pull's lesson stuck. Automatically, before the next pull starts. See Live Coach.
He reads your log so you don't have to.
Ask him what you'd ask a friend who's good at this game. He answers with timestamps and percentages pulled from your log, not made up, and tells you what to change on the next pull. He also remembers what he told you last time, so if you keep dying to the same thing, expect to hear about it.
FAQ
Questions we get
Why do my tanks keep dying on Ula'tek?
Upload the log and ask. Clutch walks back through the ten seconds before each tank death, shows which defensives were up and unused, and tells you whether it was a missed swap, a healer gap, or unhandled boss damage. Timestamps and ability names included.
Who missed their interrupts in the last pull?
Every kick and every missed one, with the cast that should have died and who was on it. Ask "who missed kicks?" and you get it player by player.
What's the one thing killing our prog the most?
Wipe Analysis ranks the problems across all your wipes by how many pulls each one cost you, and leads with the biggest: the mechanic, the player, or the timing window. One sentence naming it, then what to change next pull.
Is WowCoach free?
Yes. Sign in with Battle.net, upload, and read your logs free. Coaching runs on credits and every new account gets 4 welcome credits (2 Coach Clutch chats). Paid plans add monthly credits and Sim This Pull. No credit card to start.
How is it different from other combat log sites?
Most log sites give you rankings and event tables and leave the detective work to you. WowCoach does the detective work: death recaps that show what you were sitting on, wipe analysis ranked by pulls lost, a Desktop App that uploads while you play, and a search box that takes a normal sentence. Plenty of players run both.
I have never logged before. What do I do?
Type /combatlog in game before the pull. WoW writes WoWCombatLog.txt into your Logs folder. Drag that file onto the upload page, or install the Desktop App and it uploads for you.
Try it on last night's log.
Think you already know why you died? Upload it anyway.
