How It Works

The Desktop companion app auto-uploads your logs. Coach Clutch posts the analysis to Discord.

Add Bot to Server

Click "Add to Server" above. A server admin must do this step.

Run /setup #channel

A server admin must run /setup #your-channel to tell Coach Clutch where to post. Nothing works until this is done!

Link & Install

Each raider runs /link in Discord, then installs the Desktop App to auto-upload logs.

Start Raiding

Wipe analysis posts to your channel automatically after every pull.

Most common issue: forgetting to run /setup #channel after adding the bot. A server admin must run this command to set the notification channel before anything else works.

Seeing a Discord authorization prompt every time you open your browser? The "Add to Server" button only needs to be clicked once. Close the Discord authorization tab in your browser — your browser is restoring it on startup.

Using a private channel? You need to grant Coach Clutch access:

  1. 1. Right-click the channel → Edit Channel → Permissions
  2. 2. Click + and add the Coach Clutch role
  3. 3. Enable View Channel, Send Messages, and Embed Links

If the bot can't access the channel, Discord may remove it from your server entirely. You'll need to re-add the bot and run /setup #channel again.

Enable Live Analysis in the Desktop App

For Coach Clutch to post automatically, you need Live analysis toggled on in the Desktop App's Upload Settings. This enables real-time pull-by-pull uploads so analysis starts automatically during your session.

Notification Settings

Use /settings to control what Coach Clutch posts. A server admin can toggle these options:

Post notifications when your raid kills a boss.

Kill Summaries
Post a detailed summary after boss kills with DPS/HPS rankings and key stats.

Mythic Only
Only post notifications for Mythic difficulty encounters. Ignores Normal and Heroic.
Default: Off
Raid Summary
Post a recap at the end of your raid session with overall stats and progression.
Default: On

Only a server admin can change these settings. Run /settings to see the current configuration and toggle options.

Link Your Account

For Coach Clutch to post YOUR wipe analysis, each raider needs to link their Discord to WowCoach.
