Coach Clutch Discord Bot

Add Coach Clutch to your Discord server and get automatic wipe analysis posted to your raid channel. After each wipe, your guild sees why you wiped without leaving Discord.

• /setup #channel - Configure which channel receives wipe analysis
• /link - Connect your WowCoach account to Discord
• /unlink - Disconnect your WowCoach account
• /status - Check your current configuration and linked accounts

How It Works

1. Add Coach Clutch to your server
2. Run /setup #raid-channel to configure notifications
3. Guild members run /link to connect their accounts
4. Start raiding with live analysis enabled
5. Coach Clutch automatically posts analysis after each wipe!

Rich Wipe Analysis Cards

Each notification includes:

• Primary cause of the wipe with chain of events
• Deaths timeline with killing abilities
• Strategy violations detected
• Actionable advice for next pull
• Links to full analysis on WowCoach.gg

Profile Discord Linking

You can also link your Discord account from your WowCoach profile page. This allows wipe analysis from any linked account in your guild to be posted to your configured channel.

Smarter Death Analysis

Coach Clutch now uses real game data for death analysis instead of guessing:

• Knows which killing abilities are interruptible - can say "kick this!" vs "use defensives"
• Shows spell school (Shadow, Fire, etc.) for damage mitigation advice
• Uses actual spell descriptions from the game for accurate mechanic info
• No more fabricated ability names or made-up mechanics from AI training data

Better Trash Death Reports

• Death reports now include the actual mob name that killed you
• Previously was showing generic "trash" without the specific enemy

Progression-Aware Coaching

• AI now understands when you're in a progression raid with lots of wipes
• Gives constructive, encouraging feedback instead of being harsh about deaths
• Recognizes the difference between farm night mistakes and prog night learning
• Shows focused boss order context (e.g., "8/8 Sikran" for final boss attempts)

AI Coaching Memory Across Sessions

The AI Coach now remembers insights from your previous coaching sessions. When you return for more coaching, the AI has context about:

• Issues it identified in past analyses
• Patterns it noticed across your pulls
• Recommendations it made previously

This allows the AI to track your progress over time and provide more personalized advice that builds on previous conversations.

Same-Report Detection

The AI now recognizes when you're re-analyzing the same combat log. Previously, analyzing the same report multiple times could make the AI think you hadn't improved - now it correctly identifies repeated analyses and responds appropriately.

Log Parsing Improvements

Fixed an issue where stopping and starting combat logging during a session could cause parsing to fail. Logs that previously showed "No valid runs found" should now parse correctly.

Battle.net Token Auto-Refresh

Character sync now automatically refreshes expired Battle.net tokens. Previously, users had to log out and back in after ~24 hours - now it just works.

AI Coach Improvements

• Fixed Runic Power and Astral Power showing 1000 instead of 100 in resource timelines and AI analysis
• AI now uses accurate spell range data instead of guessing (e.g., Shield of the Righteous correctly shows 5 yard range)

Boss Phase Tracking

A completely new phase tracking system now shows boss fight phases across the entire app:

• Phase boundaries displayed on DPS, healing, and health timelines
• Phase navigator lets you jump to any phase in a fight
• Phase metrics table shows your DPS/HPS breakdown by phase
• Intermissions are highlighted separately from combat phases
• Fight replay now shows phase transitions as they happen

Progression Dashboard Upgrades

The raid progression view now helps you understand exactly where your pulls are breaking down:

• "Last Phase Reached" tracking shows how deep you got on each pull
• Phase survival analysis across all attempts - see which phases are killing you
• New progression hero card with at-a-glance attempt counts and best phase

Pull Comparison

New pull comparison modal lets you compare any two attempts side-by-side. See differences in death counts, boss HP progress, and who died when. Great for understanding what made your kill pull different from the wipes.

Compressed Log Uploads

You can now upload gzip-compressed combat logs directly. Large logs upload significantly faster with compression, and the server handles decompression automatically.

Auto-Analysis Preview

We have been building a new Auto-Analysis feature that provides AI-powered wipe analysis in real-time. This feature is not yet ready for use but is included in this release as a preview. When enabled, it will:

• Automatically analyze wipes as they happen
• Provide immediate feedback on what went wrong
• Track defensive cooldown usage and positioning
• Integrate with your live combat sessions
