Terms and Conditions

1. Agreeing to These Terms

WowCoach.gg (the "Service") is owned and operated by WowCoach, LLC ("WowCoach," "we," "us," or "our"), a Texas limited liability company. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you are.

2. What WowCoach Does

WowCoach analyzes World of Warcraft combat logs. It turns them into reports, statistics, leaderboards and coaching, including AI coaching from Coach Clutch. You can upload logs on the website or with the WowCoach desktop app, which can also analyze pulls live while you play and, if you turn it on, record your pulls so you can replay them on your PC.

We change and improve the Service all the time. Features may be added, changed or removed. We aim for the Service to be available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that it always will be.

3. Your Account

You sign in to WowCoach with your Battle.net account. (App reviewers we invite sign in with review credentials we give them; those accounts hold only example logs, and we can limit, change or revoke them at any time.) You are responsible for:

• Keeping your Battle.net login and the devices you use WowCoach on secure
• Everything that happens under your account, including anything done by apps or AI assistants you connect to it
• Telling us right away at support@wowcoach.gg if you think someone else is using your account

An account is for one person. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms or are used for fraud, abuse or anything illegal.

4. Plans, Billing and Cancellation

Much of WowCoach is free. Paid plans and credit packs, their prices, and what each includes are listed on our pricing page. If you buy a plan or credits, you agree to pay the price shown at checkout and to give accurate billing information.

• Payments. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe"). By paying, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy. We never see or store your card number.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the then-current price, until you cancel.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time in the billing portal (Profile, then Billing). Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. After that, your account moves to the free plan.
• Price changes. We may change prices. For existing subscriptions, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance, and the new price takes effect at your next renewal.
• Guild plans. A guild plan is paid for by the guild leader, who assigns seats to guild members. A member's access through a guild seat lasts only while the guild plan is active and the member holds a seat.

Refund Policy:

Refunds may be provided at our discretion in the following circumstances:

• Service outages exceeding 24 consecutive hours
• Billing errors or duplicate charges
• Cancellation within 7 days of initial subscription (first-time subscribers only)
• Other exceptional circumstances evaluated on a case-by-case basis

5. AI Credits

AI credits ("credits") are a virtual currency used to access AI-powered features within the Service, such as Coach Clutch. Credits may be obtained through one-time purchases ("purchased credits") or as part of a subscription plan ("subscription credits").

• Purchased credits do not expire while the Service is operational
• Subscription credits refresh monthly and do not carry over to the following month
• Subscription credits are used before purchased credits
• If an AI request fails, the credits it used are returned automatically
• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value
• Credits are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
• In the event the Service is discontinued, any unused purchased credits will not be refunded or compensated
• We reserve the right to modify credit pricing and the credit cost of features with reasonable notice

6. AI-Generated Coaching

Coach Clutch and other AI features are produced by third-party AI models working from your logs and our guides. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. Treat it as advice, not fact, and use your own judgment. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any AI-generated content.

7. Connected AI Assistants

The WowCoach connector lets you use WowCoach from your own AI assistant, such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or Claude Code. You add WowCoach to your assistant as an MCP server (https://api.wowcoach.gg/mcp) and sign in with Battle.net on WowCoach's own page (app reviewers use their review credentials there). See the setup page for how.

• Assistant access. Your assistant can read the logs you can open on WowCoach and their coaching and guide advice. Some tools prepare and cache coach cards or refresh character summaries. It cannot upload, change, share or delete combat logs.
• Paid plans only. The connector is included with paid plans (Solo and up, including guild seats). You can connect on any plan, but the tools only answer while your account is on a paid plan.
• Your data goes to your assistant's provider. When your assistant requests data from WowCoach, we send that data to your assistant, which means to the company that runs it (for example, Anthropic, OpenAI or Cursor). How that company stores, uses or shares it is governed by its own terms and privacy policy, not ours.
• We are not responsible for your assistant. Your assistant decides what to ask and writes its own replies. We are not responsible for what a third-party assistant says or does with data from WowCoach, for mistakes it makes, or for its availability.
• Disconnect any time. Go to Profile, then Connected apps, and click Disconnect. Access stops within a minute. You can also remove WowCoach in your assistant's settings.
• Limits and fair use. The connector has hourly and daily limits on tool calls, and questions it sends to AskLogs count against your normal AskLogs allowance. Limits may change. The connector is for your own use with your own logs and your group's.
• Suspension. We may suspend or revoke a connection, or an account's access to the connector, if it is abused, used to break these Terms, or puts the Service or other players at risk.

8. Your Logs and Content

Content you upload or send to the Service, including combat logs, questions, comments and feedback ("User Content"), remains yours. By uploading User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to:

• Store, process, reproduce, modify and display it
• Create derivative works from it, such as reports, statistics, leaderboards and coaching, for the purpose of providing the Service
• Use aggregated, anonymized data from it to improve the Service

A combat log records everyone in your group, not just you. When you upload a log, you choose who can see the report (just you, your guild, or anyone). A report shows the character names, statistics and gameplay data of everyone in the log, and logs also feed anonymous statistics such as leaderboard percentiles. Our Privacy Policy explains who can see what. In accordance with Blizzard Entertainment's policies, character names, character data and character profile information are owned by Blizzard and are not treated as personal information.

You confirm that you have the right to upload your User Content and to grant this license. Do not upload content that:

• Violates any law or regulation
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Is false, misleading, or fraudulent, including edited or fabricated combat logs
• Harasses, threatens, or defames others

9. Acceptable Use

Use WowCoach for your own play and your group's. You must not:

• Scrape, crawl or bulk-download data from the Service, by script, bot, connected assistant or any other automated means, beyond your own normal use
• Copy, reverse engineer, resell or republish WowCoach's analysis, coaching rules, guides or AI prompts, or use them to build a competing product
• Sell, rent or share your account or your paid access with anyone else (review credentials we give an app reviewer are the only exception)
• Try to get around plan limits, credit charges, rate limits, access controls or security, or try to see data you do not have access to
• Disrupt or overload the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, or interfere with other players' use of it
• Use the Service to harass others or to break any law

We may limit, suspend or close access for anyone who breaks these rules.

10. Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, algorithms, analysis, coaching rules, guides, AI prompts, features and content (excluding User Content and Blizzard's game content), is owned by WowCoach, LLC and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service under these Terms. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the Service or its content without our express written permission. Sharing links to your reports and quoting your own results is fine.

11. Blizzard Entertainment

World of Warcraft, WoW, Battle.net and Blizzard Entertainment are trademarks or registered trademarks of Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. WowCoach.gg is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Blizzard Entertainment. All character data, spell names, item names, and game mechanics referenced in the Service are the property of Blizzard Entertainment.

WowCoach is built to work within Blizzard Entertainment's Terms of Service and End User License Agreement. The Service:

• Analyzes combat log files written by the game client
• Does not modify the game client or read game memory
• Does not automate gameplay
• Uses Blizzard's official Battle.net API for sign-in and character data

You are responsible for following Blizzard's terms when you play. You use the Service at your own risk, and we make no guarantees about how Blizzard's policies may change.

12. Third-Party Services

The Service relies on other companies' services, including:

• Blizzard Entertainment (Battle.net sign-in and game data)
• Stripe (payment processing)
• OpenAI (AI models behind Coach Clutch, AskLogs and other AI features)
• Amazon Web Services (hosting and storage)
• Discord (our optional Discord bot and account linking)
• Wowhead (spell and item tooltips and icons)
• Any AI assistant you connect through the WowCoach connector (see Section 7)

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or reliability of third-party services.

13. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Non-infringement of third-party rights
• Accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the Service, including AI-generated content
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation
• Security of data transmission or storage

IN NO EVENT SHALL WOWCOACH, LLC BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Loss of use or opportunity
• Business interruption
• Cost of substitute services

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY.

Some jurisdictions do not allow some of these disclaimers or limits. Where that is the case, they apply only to the extent the law allows.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless WowCoach, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of another party
• Any User Content you upload or submit

15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice, for any reason including but not limited to:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• At our sole discretion

You may stop using the Service at any time. To close your account, contact us at support@wowcoach.gg. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease, and we may delete your account and User Content.

Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including but not limited to: intellectual property rights, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and indemnification.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

For Residents of the United States and Other Non-EU Jurisdictions:

Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Texas. Both parties agree to waive their right to a jury trial. Either party may seek injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property rights.

For Residents of the European Economic Area:

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, the arbitration provision above does not apply to you. You retain all rights granted under applicable EU consumer protection laws. Disputes will be resolved in accordance with the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence, and you retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your EU member state.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will tell you about material changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• Publishing a notice to the notification center inside the Service, which is shown to signed-in users
• Posting a notice on the Service

Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the modified Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.

18. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole. Such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and WowCoach, LLC regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, and communications, whether written or oral.
