What causes the first death on a wipe

The ability behind the first player death of each Heroic wipe. The first death usually starts the wipe.

1. Digestive Juices31%
   • Raids that kill Kith'ix lose 75% fewer players per minute to Digestive Juices than raids that wipe.
   • Counter: Death Knight or another grip: pull one beetle at a time onto the Hulk tank and let it explode there.
   • Counter: No grip: root or stun the beetles, then an assigned player walks into one at a time.
2. Extinguish29%
   • Raids that kill Kith'ix lose 71% fewer players per minute to Extinguish than raids that wipe.
   • Counter: The motes spawn in front of the Venomous Hulk: as the cast starts, everyone moves toward the Hulk's front and touches one just before the shockwave lands.
   • Counter: No mote in reach: an immunity (Ice Block, Divine Shield, Cloak of Shadows, Aspect of the Turtle), otherwise a big defensive or an external.
3. Dark Devastation8%
   • Raids that kill Kith'ix lose 77% fewer players per minute to Dark Devastation than raids that wipe.
   • 26% of the players it kills are tanks.
   • Counter: Melee and anyone else near the tank step more than 15 yd away as the 4 s cast starts and come back once it lands.
   • Counter: Boss tank: carry the circle out of the raid before it lands, with active mitigation and a defensive for every cast.
4. Twisted Appendage7%

   • Counter: Step out of the circle within 3 s.
